For every version of us that had to start over. Some were left behind, some still walk beside us, and some we are still becoming. May we make them proud.
Our story
in between is a space for women who carry more than one home in their heart. Women who raise children between cultures, build new lives in a second language, and hold far more strength than they usually give themselves credit for.
There is a part of us that never left.
So we put those words where they can be seen — stitched into something soft you reach for on an ordinary morning. Each piece is made in small runs, packed by hand in Florida, and sent to someone who will recognise herself in it.
Every cap carries a line we have all said out loud, or swallowed. Small fragments of courage, saudade and starting over.
We learn new roads, grow new roots, build a new house. But some things stay: the people, the places, the smell of cake and coffee.
For every version of us that had to start again — and for the ones we are still becoming. May we make them proud.
