for women who carry
more than one home.

Washed-cotton caps, embroidered with small fragments of our stories — of courage, of saudade, of starting over. Pieces of our stories, worn softly.

Three washed-cotton in between caps in charcoal, burgundy and hot pink, arranged on a sunlit oak table with coffee, a notebook and eucalyptus

“made of stories, of goodbyes, and new beginnings.”

Para todas as versões de nós que precisaram recomeçar.

For every version of us that had to start over. Some were left behind, some still walk beside us, and some we are still becoming. May we make them proud.

Our story

It started with a box on a dining table.

in between is a space for women who carry more than one home in their heart. Women who raise children between cultures, build new lives in a second language, and hold far more strength than they usually give themselves credit for.

There is a part of us that never left.

So we put those words where they can be seen — stitched into something soft you reach for on an ordinary morning. Each piece is made in small runs, packed by hand in Florida, and sent to someone who will recognise herself in it.

  • of stories

Every cap carries a line we have all said out loud, or swallowed. Small fragments of courage, saudade and starting over.

  • of goodbyes

We learn new roads, grow new roots, build a new house. But some things stay: the people, the places, the smell of cake and coffee.

  • and new beginnings

For every version of us that had to start again — and for the ones we are still becoming. May we make them proud.

The collection

Three lines we have all lived.

Each cap is washed until it feels already yours, then embroidered with one honest sentence. Choose the one that reads like your own week.

The Funnier One

I’m funnier in portuguese

There is a version of me that is faster, sharper and much funnier. She speaks Portuguese.

For everyone who has ever swallowed a joke halfway through because it only lands in your first language. This one is worn washed-soft, the way a favourite story gets softer each time you tell it.

The Mother Tongue

mothering in a second language

You sing the lullabies of one country to a child who dreams in another.

For the mothers translating tenderness all day long — school emails, doctor’s visits, playground apologies — and then whispering goodnight in the language of their own childhood. The deepest work, in the quietest voice.

Hot pink acid-wash cap with tonal embroidery reading "made of courage and an accent" on a light oak table

The Brave One

made of courage and an accent

The accent never leaves. Neither does the courage it took to get here.

For the woman who rebuilt a life from scratch in a language she was still learning. People hear the accent first. This is for the part they don’t hear.

Existe uma parte de nós que nunca foi embora.

There is a part of us that never left. We learn new roads and build a new house — but the memories, the people, the places, the smell of cake and coffee, those stay.
